The Australian cricket team will no longer be playing the Afghanistan national cricket team if Taliban bans women from participating in Cricket.
Australia is considering cancelling their cricket tour of Afghanistan if the Taliban bans women from playing. The International Cricket Council have expressed concern that security for international matches in Afghanistan would be too great a risk, after it was revealed they are now recruiting women to play on national teams around the country as part of an attempt at “nation building”.
