ARC Raiders Co-Op Game Revealed for PS5 and Xbox Series X

Sony’s PS5 and Microsoft’s next Xbox console will both feature the recently announced ARC Raiders multiplayer game, according to a report from GamingBolt . The game will be the first co-op game for the new consoles, according to the report, which cited a source familiar with the project, and will feature cross-platform multiplayer between the PS5, Xbox Series X and PCs.

It has already been made clear that Microsoft and Sony have both been working on their new gaming consoles. While Sony is expected to show us the PS5 next year, Microsoft might not be too far behind as it is rumoured to be on its way to reveal the Xbox Series X in March 2019. But it seems that the Redmond-based technology giant was not the first one to show its plans for the next generation of gaming consoles.

A new patent filed by Electronic Arts and obtained by Xbox World, reveals the creation of a co-op game for both the Xbox Series X and PS5, that will allow the users of both the consoles to play together. All of this was revealed by a patent application submitted by the company to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The document acquired by the magazine suggests that Electronic Arts has been working on a co-op game that will be “interactive, digital and on-screen” and will be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
