Ahmed Mukhtar, a senior politician and former defense minister, has died

LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and senior politician Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar has passed away.

PPP leader Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar has been the Minister of Defense, Water and Power and Trade in different terms.

Ahmed Mukhtar also served with Benazir Bhutto as PPP general secretary.

Funeral prayers of late Chaudhry Ahmad Mukhtar will be offered at Defense T Block Mosque today at 1.30 pm.
