Corona virus kills another doctor in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Dr. Muhammad Farooq Corona, Additional Director, Khalifa Gul Nawaz Hospital, Bannu, has passed away.

Dr Mohammad Farooq was on a ventilator at a private hospital after contracting the corona virus.

According to the Provincial Doctors Association, the number of doctors killed by corona in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has risen to 25, while 40 health workers have died from corona in the province so far.

It is to be noted that the number of deaths and cases during the second wave of Corona in the country is increasing rapidly and in the last 24 hours there were a record 75 deaths which is the highest number of deaths in a single day after four and a half months.

According to the corona statistics website (covid.gov.pk) in Pakistan, 35197 tests for corona were carried out across the country in the last 24 hours in which 2829 people were confirmed to have corona virus while 75 more were infected with the virus. People died.
