BRT Peshawar resumed after being closed for more than a month

BRT service in Peshawar was restored after being closed for more than a month.

Trans-Peshawar spokesman Muhammad Umair, while restoring the BRT service, said that a comprehensive inspection of all buses, installation of new equipment, load and road testing has been carried out.

He said that BRT service would run from 6 am to 10 pm, express route on main corridor has also been activated, special route from Khyber Bazaar to Mall of Hayatabad would be run.

Muhammad Umair said that the bus would stop at platform No. 2 of each station and from October 25, three direct routes to Hayatabad would also be restored.

A spokesman for Trans Peshawar said that all BRT passengers must wear masks, without which no passenger would be allowed to board the bus.
